A Beautiful Mother’s Day Card
Happy Tuesday, everyone! I don’t know about you, but I am so glad Monday is over. Today, I am sharing a beautiful Mother’s Day card that I made for my mom (hopefully she isn’t reading this, as I haven’t seen her yet to give it to her) using some of my favorite products from Kat Scrappiness.
This card was a lot of fun to created, and it came together relatively quickly. I started by coloring up one of the beautiful floral images from the Friendship Greetings Stamp Set using my Copic Markers and fussy cutting the image out. Using the A2 Quilted Backdrop Die (literally, my favorite coverplate die ever), I die-cut my main card panel out of white cardstock and adhered it to an A2 card base.
Next, I die-cut two diamonds, one from silver cardstock and one from white, using the brand new Nested Stitched Diamond Dies. I adhered the two diamonds together and then glued them to the center of my card base.
If you have been following me for a while, you know I love my loopy bows, and of course I had to add one to my card. I tied the bow, and I adhered it to the back of the floral image with a mini glue dot. Using Memento Tuxedo Black ink, I stamped the sentiment on a strip of white and trimmed the right edge at an angle, followed by adhering it to a slightly larger silver strip. I adhered this to the back of the floral image, which I popped up on foam dots.
Thank you so much for spending a few minutes of your busy day with me! I hope that you are inspired to do something crafty today. If you love what you see, please make sure to subscribe so that you don’t miss out when I upload new inspiration.
Xoxo,
