Let’s Make Magical Memories Together!
Hello friends! I hope your week is off to an amazing start! Today, I am sharing a card that I created using some of the products in the new Kat Scrappiness Summer Vacation Release. Some of my favorite memories with my family are time spent at the Happiest Place on Earth! When I saw the Magical Memories Dies, I was instantly transported back to those happy times!
It was a lot of fun creating this happy card! To start, I created my card base by adhering a panel of black cardstock to a white card base and set it aside. I wanted some subtle texture for the background, so I dry-embossed a panel of red and a panel of yellow using stencils that I have in my stash! I love this technique! It is so easy to do, and it really opens up the possibilities for products in your stash. Once I had the panels embossed, I also die-cut the yellow panel using the Stitched Scalloped Border Dies, which are an absolute favorite of mine! When I am stuck on a sketch, these really help change up the look of a card.
Next, I die-cut the elements using the same color scheme. I used the Glitter Galore 6 x 6 Paper Pad for the balloons and I love how they sparkle! I arranged the die-cuts on my card front and decided that it needed a sentiment, so I printed one out and cut it into a banner, which I backed with black cardstock and adhered it to the front of the card. I added a fun loopy bow and finished off my card by adding a sprinkling of Mouse Ear Sprinkles. How cute are they?!
