Wishing You a Magical Celebration!

Hi friends! Kat Scrappiness has just released the new Essentials Collection and it is jam-packed full of items that you will use over and over again!

I love anything related to our favorite magical friends, and wanted to use the Magical Memories Dies again. When I saw the A2 Filmstrip Die in the new release, I knew that it would be PERFECT to pair them together!

Here is how I made this card:

• I started with a white A2 card base: 8 1/2″ x 5 1/2″, scored at 4 1/4″ on the 8 1/2″ side
• I dry embossed a 3 7/8″ x 5 1/8″ panel of white cardstock using an embossing folder in my stash
• I adhered the embossed panel to a 4″ x 5 1/4″ panel of black stock and then glued that to the card base
• I die-cut a filmstrip out of black cardstock using the brand new A2 Filmstrip Die and adhered a thin strip of white behind it on each edge
• I die-cut several of the elements from the Magical Memories Dies from a mixture of solid cardstock and the amazing Glitter Galore 6 x 6 Paper Pad
• I adhered a scrap panel of the red Glitter Galore paper to a slightly larger black panel and then glued that to the card base at an angle
• I slipped the balloon up through the bottom of the filmstrip and I glued it down and then trimmed the overhang of the “string” off from the bottom
• I adhered the filmstrip to the card base at the opposite angle of the glitter panel
• Next, I arranged my elements on the front of the card, leaving the center panel of the filmstrip open for the sentiment
• I die-cut the sentiment from yellow Glitter Galore Paper and a red shadow using the Cheers Word w/Shadow Dies and adhered them together
• Lastly, I popped the sentiment up on foam dots and placed it in the center of the card
